How It All Started

Over a decade ago, Jack Saum launched the Beltway Companies Charity Golf Outing with the goal of creating opportunities and investing in people. Initially started as a scholarship initiative for St. Mary’s College, it has evolved to support mentorship, workforce development, and our communities.

Today, the outing embodies Beltway's broader commitment to community involvement. With the support of our customers, sponsors, vendors, employees, and donors, it has grown into a cherished tradition that benefits local organizations, schools, and charitable causes.

Giving Matters $1.25 Million And Counting

A lasting impact through community support. Beltway Companies announced that its 13th Annual Charity Golf Outing raised $147,000. This brings the total raised to over $1.25 million since the event started. Taking place every September, this outing gathers more than 150 participants—including customers, vendors, employees, and charity representatives—for a day that goes beyond competition and focuses on sustaining vital community work.

13 Years Strong

Beltway Companies has donated nearly $1 million to charity in the past 13 years, including $200,000 in 2024 for 11 local organizations. The highlight was the 12th Annual Charity Golf Outing, which drew over 150 participants, including employees and charity representatives. CEO Jack Saum noted that community involvement is a key company value, with employees selecting charities that resonate with them.

Supported organizations include Brooke's House and Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry. Beltway also promotes employee-led initiatives, such as a canned food drive, and showcases their impact through the Idealease Cares video featuring sponsors and volunteers.

Making A Difference

Beltway Companies, proudly announces its extraordinary achievement in raising over $125,000 to support Twelve local charities. This remarkable accomplishment was made possible through a year-long series of fundraisers, culminating with the success of the 12th annual Charity Golf Outing, which attracted more than 100 participants, including customers, vendors, employees, and representatives from sponsored charities. The event concluded with a dinner and silent auction, allowing our guests to hear directly from our charity representatives.

Empowering individuals, families and communities to adopt a proactive approach to mental health & suicide prevention. Providing accessible evidence-based practices of self-healing, stigma-shattering self-expression and interpersonal connection.

Brooke’s House


Established in 2015, Brooke's House was created in memory of, Brooke Simmers, who tragically died from a drug overdose. The goal was to create a unique sober living house to support woman in their recovery journey and help them regain their lives.

Camp No Limits – Foundation


We provide support and resources to individuals with limb loss and limb difference and their families. Our mission is to empower, educate and support these individuals to overcome physical and emotional challenges and achieve their full potential.

Abby’s Carts of Courage


We help support children in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia during their cancer journeys by providing new wagons. These wagons help ease the challenges of treatment, offering comfort and assistance when patients often feel fatigued and weak.

Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry


Fishes & Loaves Pantry is a nonprofit located in southwest Baltimore City. Providing emergency food assistance to residents of Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. We are deeply dedicated to fighting hunger throughout Baltimore and beyond.

Frederick County 4H Therapeutic Riding


Since 1984, Frederick County 4H Therapeutic Riding has offered horseback riding for individuals, aged 3 to 65. Our clients typically have diagnoses such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Brain Trauma, Retts, Deaf, Scolosis and many others.

Jennifer Rose Kindley Memorial Scholarship and Grant


Jennifer Rose Kindley, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and teacher, who tragically passed in 2021. To honor her memory we provide scholarship awards to students of Redeemer Classical Christian School in Kingsville, MD, where she taught second grade.

At the High 5 Initiative, our mission is clear: to practice, promote, and enable the conservation of nature. Our vision is to create a world where everyone has the tools and opportunities to contribute as an environmental steward.

Seeds 4 Success


Seeds 4 Success grew out of neighbors’ concerns about escalating crime in nearby public housing communities and the well-being of children living there. Seeds 4 Success provides weekly mentoring to 68 participants as well as and their families'.
